What voice commands can you use with your Echo or Nest speakers?
You can use nearly every piece of your Louisville smart home via your favorite AI assistant. Check the situation with your smart components, transfer to a preset setting, or perform minute tweaks of a setting with some easy vocal commands. Or tell your Echo or Nest device to schedule your security system in the same way as you can with the Vivint mobile app.
Here are just a few commands you are able to assign to Alexa or Google:
-
“Set my security system to away.”
-
“Lock the front door.”
-
“Power off my bedroom light.”
-
“Did I forget the garage door open?”
-
"Record a clip of my indoor camera."
-
"Turn down the heat 5 degrees."
-
“Turn off the kid’s room light in 30 minutes.”
Save time when you set cycles in your Alexa or Google Home smartphone app that utilize multiple functions. For example, try "Google, I'm going out," and set your motion detectors, lower the thermostat, and bolt the doors. Or craft a scene for "tv night" and ask your smart home to dim the lights and move the thermostat to how your family likes it.
